British airways cabin baggage size

What size carry-on bag can I take on an international flight? Your bags must fit into the baggage gauge at check-in (including handles, pockets and wheels). Hand luggage must not exceed 56cm x 45cm x 25cm and the small item must be no bigger than 40cm x 30cm x 15cm.

British Airways and BA CityFlyer flights. You’d be surprised what you can fit in a suitcase when you fly with us.

It’s not possible to split the total weight across multiple bags. Cabin baggage may not exceed 56cm x 45cm x 25cm and your personal bag must not be larger than: 45cm x 36cm x 20cm. You are also allowed bag for your checked baggage allowance, a max of 23kg. You must be able to fit your bags into the baggage gauge at check in. Children (under 2) allowed additional cabin bag.

Every flight includes our generous free baggage allowance, giving you plenty of space for the essentials you might need. You can take a maximum of 2.

Aerolite (45x35x20cm) Executive Mobile Business Cabin Hand with Luggage Rolling Laptop Bag (xSet) £52. The size of the additional cabin bag remains unchanged and should be no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (22in x 18in x 10in). Both bags can weigh up to 23kgs (51lb) each. Each bag must weigh no more than lbs.

Infants under two years of age are only permitted one cabin bag, for items they may need during the flight. The checked baggage shall be of 9 and cms in dimensions. Some people have even noticed that their fellow passengers have been brazen in taking three or more pieces of hand-luggage into the cabin with them. All liquid containers that you bring to the airport must be no larger than 100ml, even if they currently contain less than 100ml of liquid.

You may carry liquids, gels, pastes and aerosols in containers up to 100ml (oz) in your hand baggage. Containers larger than 100ml cannot be accepted even if only partly filled. Your containers should be carried in a transparent, resealable, quart- or litre-sized bag no larger than 20x20cm (8x8in). The maximum weight remains the same kg.

This includes handles, pockets and wheels. The second bag or laptop bag cannot exceed 30cm x 40cm x 15cm. From August 1 passengers will be limited to personal bags no bigger than 40x30x15cm.

You would have to turn it sideways, (They don’t allow that in the back of the plane) to fit it in, You putting it in sideways uses the space of Two Carry-ons. If it was 19″ wide or 11″ high it would probably not be a issue as it would still fit in the over head wheels first. As long as it under 40cm x 30cm x 15cm and is under 23kg then it fits the criteria. Passengers can also take a cabin bag onboard for free, with the same weight of 23kg.

Also, the smaller piece is guaranteed to go into the cabin , provided. Image courtesy of britishairways. Small bag: 40x30x15cm, litres Weight limit: 23kg each, so 46kg in total, though, to get the smaller bag up to its legal maximum would take some doing. The cabin bag can cannot exceed the 23kg and should be no larger.

Most passengers however will be limited to 23kg as the most popular routes around Europe and transatlantic flights are restricted to 23kg. I use my Hiking bag, Osprey 55l and the dimensions is 65x40x25. I do refer the website and it stated that the hand carry shouldn’t weight more than 23kg and the dimensions is 56cm x 45cm x 25cm. However, I’m not sure about the baggage policy.
